Day 4

Welp, today was a nice and short day. We finally got to sleep at a reasonable hour and actually slept all through the night. It's not as easy as you might think it is, but we did. Sad part of the story, however, is that we didn't make it through the whole day and fell asleep early afternoon. Wake at 6-7 and asleep by 2, not too bad if you ask me. I know there were some talks of zoo action, but after walking out the door and feeling the cool 54 degrees on our faces, we decided if we didn't really want to be outside, the animals probably wouldn't either. So, we will zoo another day. Don't fret though, after a short deliberation we decided to find the Lennon wall.

Hmmm...that doesn't look like a wall or a Lennon, does it? No, it doesn't. That's because it's not a wall at all. In fact, to be tact, this was, and is, a monument to those who had their lives destroyed by the communist regime that once ruled this fair land. But then, the other wall came down, not in this country but in another, and helped to bring an end to it all. When we get to the Lennon wall I will explain why that wall, like the other wall, helped to end a terrible time in their respective countries.

This ones for you Kelly!!! We managed to get both of us in a pic yay for a non typical honeymoon pic! Behind us you can see some of the fortification for Prague castle. Very cool!! In the picture that says "Here", "& Here," below, this picture was taken by the "Here." See the wall climbing up the hill there?

This was taken from the other side of the Vltava, as you can see, where our tram drops us off by the Charles bridge. I don't know what that white building is quite yet, but have a feeling we will find out soon.

I snuck this picture up on Barry hehe!!! We eventually had to leave this lovely bench because it was right next to a playground with lots of little ones, and there weren't really other people or tourists, and if I were a teacher, which I will be, I think that would be weird haha!!! Alli really didn't like it when I started taking pictures of the little children in the sand box. I had to delete them. : ( Creeper!

This was our pretty view up the hill from our bench spot, to the left there is a lift that takes you all the way to the top, we think we will try that another day! BTW, the Czech bums love this hill! you can't see them because they lay in every little nook and cranny.

Every wall in Prague has graffiti on it, but it all still looks gorgeous. I don't know how they do it! This is the path down from our hillside bench back into new town, jsyk. The little blonde in the pic, doesn't have graffiti on her, but she is pretty gorgeous too.

Goulash, Goulash, Goulash!!! Barry finally got some goulash!!! This place was pretty nice, they pulled a "couvert" operation on us though. This is the second time we have been foolish---they bring you things you didn't order and then we eat them, and then we have to pay for them. It sounds dumb, but when we order bread, and they bring pretzels we just thought that was our bread, so really it is tricky!!! We decided that was our last time to be fooled. We call it a "couvert" operation because on the bill it says "couvert" next to the price.

Alli's so happy to have finally found the Lennon wall!!!!! It was actually kind of hard to find. Of course, we were just walking around looking for it, not using a map or anything, but once we did it was easily found. Educate yourself about the wall!!!! Lennon Wall. Wikipedia never lies.

We're working hard to get in pics together Kel. I hope now that you're my sis I can call you that. Otherwise, we're working hard to get in pics together Kelly. See the johnny Lennon head in between us? It took like a million and a half pics to finally get it right. Look, he's below us too.

Cool dude! The wall changes everyday. If we came back next year we wouldn't even be able to recognize it! Haven't decided what we are going to add yet, but in the next couple we will get some spray paint, a plan, maybe a stencil, and leave something extra special in Johnny's memory. Pic to follow.

The imagine thing is cool. See the Texas on the right side. I thought I was the only Texakean who knew about this place. Shucks!

When we were walking back to the tram, after that long, exhausting, but really short day, snapped this one last pic of the river. Bet you are gonna get sick of these river pics but they're sooooo much fun.
Until nexterday. A&B
Na videnou!
